As your Matrescence Mentor, I hold a safe and supportive space for you as you navigate this powerful transition.

Through gentle, practical coaching, I help you move through the identity shifts of mamahood with more clarity, confidence, and self-compassion. Our work is present and future-focused — giving you tools to feel grounded, empowered, and more connected to yourself as you grow into this new version of you.

Birth Trauma and Fear Release

Sometimes birth, pregnancy, or early parenthood doesn’t unfold the way we hoped. When experiences feel frightening, overwhelming, or out of our control, they can leave a lasting emotional imprint.  

If you’re replaying what happened, feeling anxious, numb, or struggling to move forward, you are not alone — and gentle support can help.  

These 1:1 Birth Trauma & Fear Release sessions offer a safe, calming space to help your mind and body process difficult experiences from pregnancy, birth, postpartum, or life events. They can also help release fears about an upcoming birth.  

This guided process helps your subconscious mind reorganise and re-file the memory, so you can keep the wisdom from your experience while letting go of the emotional triggers that keep you stuck. 

Parents often report feeling lighter, calmer, and more at peace after the sessions — with many describing the experience as truly transformational.

 These sessions may help if you:  

• Feel upset or distressed when thinking about your birth 

• Experienced fear, loss of control, or felt unheard during pregnancy or birth

 • Have flashbacks, intrusive thoughts, anxiety, or difficulty sleeping 

• Feel overwhelmed, numb, or hyper-vigilant 

• Are pregnant and feel scared about giving birth  

Around 1 in 3 women experience birth as traumatic.

So many of them carry these feelings silently.

The Birth Trauma & Fear Release process is a gentle, meditation-based approach completed over three sessions:  

Session 1 (1 hour)

We settle your nervous system with a guided relaxation. You may share your experience if you wish — but you don’t have to.  

Session 2 (1 hour)

We guide your mind through a powerful process that helps re-encode the experience so the emotional charge softens while the learning remains.  

Session 3 (30 minutes)

We focus on the future, helping you move forward feeling calmer, stronger, and more at ease.  

You’ll also receive guided audio recordings to support your healing between sessions and beyond.

Closing the Bones Ceremonies

A deeply nurturing postpartum ritual for Mamas

At Becoming Mama Collective, the Closing the Bones Ceremony is a beautiful, restorative ritual created to honour and support mamas after birth. Rooted in traditional postpartum practices from Ecuador and Latin America, this ceremony gently helps a mama’s body and spirit transition after the profound openness of pregnancy and birth.

During pregnancy and labour, a woman’s body opens in extraordinary ways — physically, emotionally, and energetically. The Closing the Bones ceremony offers a sacred opportunity to be held, nurtured, and supported as your body is gently guided back into balance.

This deeply relaxing experience may includesnthe traditional rebozo wrapping, where soft woven scarves are used to gently hold and wrap the body. Each part of the body — often the head, shoulders, belly, hips, and feet — is slowly wrapped and released, creating a powerful sense of containment, grounding, and closure.

Many mothers describe this experience as feeling deeply held and cared for — something that is so often missing in the postpartum period.

Traditionally offered within the first 40 days after birth, the ceremony can also be profoundly healing months or even years later. It can support mamas who wish to honour their birth experience, process emotions around their journey into mamahood, or simply reconnect with themselves.

Our intention is to create a calm, sacred space just for you — a space where your journey through birth and mamahood can be honoured and gently acknowledged. This is a moment to offer tenderness and gratitude to your body, allowing it to soften, return to itself, and close the energy that has been so open through pregnancy and birth. It is also an opportunity to lovingly release any emotional ties or experiences that no longer serve you.

We begin slowly with a meditation, ceremonial grade Cacaoand time to reflect. Gifting space for emotions to surface in a safe and supported way, helping them move through your body and gently release. Following this, we move into rebozo “sifting” — a gentle, rhythmic practice using the rebozo scarf both standing and lying down. Through soft rocking and supportive wrapping around the hips and body, this process helps the nervous system deeply relax while encouraging the body to release and settle.

As women, our hips are renown to be a place where we hold unprocessed emotions, and this gentle rocking and binding can feel incredibly grounding and supportive, allowing the body to soften and let go.

The Rite of Womb is spoken - honouring and healing the energy of your womb, your powerful centre of creativity, intuition, and connection to the divine feminine. The Rite of the womb practice was gifted to me by a healer in Glastonbury and bestowed by a lineage of women and shared with women across the world. It is the gift of HEALING and LIFE and belongs to every woman who wants to receive it. And so, any residual pain and sorrow stored in your pelvic bowl is invited to release and the full & glorious wisdom of your womb space restored.

As the ceremony comes to a close, we will slowly and gently guide you back into the present moment. You’ll then be invited to rest with a cup of warming homemade vegan chai and some nourishing energy balls — giving you time to integrate the experience and feel truly cared for before you leave.
